Al-Anbiyaa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسْحَـٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ نَافِلَةً ۖ وَكُلًّا جَعَلْنَا صَـٰلِحِينَ 72
{72} "Naye tukampa," walipofarikiana watu wake, "Is-haq, na Yaaqub," mwana wa Is-haq "kuwa ni ziada." Baada ya kuwa mtu mzima na mkewe alikuwa tasa, Malaika wakampa bishara kwa Is-haq. Na baada ya Is-haq Yaaqub" na Yaaqub ni Israili waliotoka humo kaumu kubwa, na Ismail bin Ibrahim, ambaye kutoka kwake lilitoka taifa wema la Kiarabu, na katika kizazi chake ni bwana wa mwanzo na wa mwisho. Na kila mmoja kutoka kwa Ibrahim, na Is-haq, na Yakubu, "tukawajaalia wawe watu wema." Yaani, kusimamisha haki zake na haki za waja wake.
