Al-Anbiyaa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. ثُمَّ نُكِسُوا۟ عَلَىٰ رُءُوسِهِمْ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ يَنطِقُونَ 65
{65} Lakini hawakuendelea katika hali hii, lakini "wakarejea kwenye ule ule upotovu wao;" yaani, jambo hilo liligeuka dhidi yao, akili zao zilirudishwa nyuma, na ndoto zao zilipotea. Wakamwambia Ibrahimu: "Wewe unajua kwamba hawa hawesemi;" kwa hivyo unatudhihakije, na unatufanyia mzaha, na kutuamuru tumuulize, na unajua kwamba hasemi?
