Al-Baqara
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. Sabīl did not write or translate any of it.

وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱعْتَدَوْا۟ مِنكُمْ فِى ٱلسَّبْتِ فَقُلْنَا لَهُمْ كُونُوا۟ قِرَدَةً خَـٰسِـِٔينَ 65
(65) Yani mlikwisha jua hali ya "wale miongoni mwenu walio ivunja Sabato (siku ya mapumziko, Jumamosi)." Nao ndio wale ambao Mwenyezi Mungu alitaja kisa chao katika Suratul-A’raf kwa upana, katika kauli yake. "Na waulize khabari za mji uliokuwa kando ya bahari, wakiivunja Sabato..." hadi mwisho wa hizi Aya. Basi hii dhambi kubwa ikafanya ghadhabu ya Mwenyezi Mungu iwajibike juu yao, na akawafanya kuwa "manyani wadhalilifu"; wanaodharauliwa, na wanaodhalilishwa. Na Mungu akaifanya hii adhabu:
