Al-Baqara
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَإِذْ قُلْنَا ٱدْخُلُوا۟ هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْقَرْيَةَ فَكُلُوا۟ مِنْهَا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمْ رَغَدًا وَٱدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْبَابَ سُجَّدًا وَقُولُوا۟ حِطَّةٌ نَّغْفِرْ لَكُمْ خَطَـٰيَـٰكُمْ ۚ وَسَنَزِيدُ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ 58
(58) Na hii pia ni katika neema zake juu yao baada ya kumuasi Yeye. Basi akawaamrisha waingie katika mji ambao humo watakuwa na utukufu, na nchi na makazi. Na watapata humo riziki nyingi. Na kwamba kuingia kwao kuwe kwa namna ambayo kwayo watamnyenyekea Mwenyezi Mungu kwa vitendo, nako ni kuingia mlangoni kwa kusujudu, yani kwa unyenyekevu na udhalilifu. Na kwa kauli, ambayo ni kusema: "Tusamehe!" Yani kuwasamehe dhambi zao kwa wao kumuomba Yeye msamaha. "Tutakusameheni makosa yenu" kwa kuomba kwenu msamaha, "na tutawazidishia wema wafanyao wema." Kwa vitendo vyao, yani kuwalipa malipo ya haraka na ya baadaye.
