Al-Kahf
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَلَوْلَآ إِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَكَ قُلْتَ مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّهِ ۚ إِن تَرَنِ أَنَا۠ أَقَلَّ مِنكَ مَالًا وَوَلَدًا 39
Kisha akajulisha kwamba neema za Mwenyezi Mungu juu yake miongoni mwa imani na Uislamu, hata kama yeye ana uchache wa mali na watoto, hayo ndiyo neema ya uhakika, na kwamba chochote kisichokuwa hayo vinaweza kutoweka, na kumsababishia mtu adhabu na mateso. Akasema:
{39} Yaani, yule sahibu yake Muumini alimwambia yule rafiki yake kafiri: Hata kama unajifakhari mbele yangu kwa sababu ya wingi wa mali yako na watoto wako, na ukaniona mimi "nina mali kidogo na watoto kuliko wewe," basi hakika yaliyo kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ndiyo bora na ya kubakia zaidi, na heri na wema unaotarajiwa kutoka kwake ni bora kuliko dunia yote ambayo wanashindana juu yake washindani.
