This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى وَهَبَ لِى عَلَى ٱلْكِبَرِ إِسْمَـٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَـٰقَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّى لَسَمِيعُ ٱلدُّعَآءِ 39
{39} "Alhamdulillahi (Himdi zote ni za Mwenyezi Mungu) aliyenitunuku pamoja na uzee wangu Ismail na Is-haq" kwani tunu hii ni katika neema kubwa zaidi, na kuja kwao katika uzee katika hali ya kukata tamaa ya watoto, ni neema nyingine tena. Na kwamba wao ni manabii wema ni kubwa zaidi na bora zaidi. "Hakika Mola wangu Mlezi ni Mwenye kusikia sana maombi." Yaani, hujibu kwa karibu yule anayemuomba. Na nimemuomba, kwa hivyo matumaini yangu hayakupotelea mbali.
