Ar-Ra'd
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. وَإِن مَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ وَعَلَيْنَا ٱلْحِسَابُ 40
{40} Yeye Mtukufu anamwambia Nabii wake Muhammad - rehema na amani za Mwenyezi Mungu zimshukie: - Usiwaharakishie kufikiwa na adhabu waliyoahidiwa. Kwa maana hata wakiendelea na upindukiaji wao na ukafiri wao, basi ni lazima yatawafika yale waliyoahidiwa. Ima tutakuonyesha adhabu hiyo katika dunia, kwa hivyo yafurahie hayo macho yako, au tukufishe kabla kuwafikishia adhabu hiyo. Na hiyo si kazi yako; "juu yako wewe ni kufikisha ujumbe tu" na kuwabainishia viumbe, "na juu yetu ni hesabu." Basi tutawahesabu viumbe kwa yale waliyoyafanya katika yale yaliyo juu yao na yale waliyokosa kufanya vyema, na tutawalipa thawabu au kuwaadhibu.
