At-Takaathur
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ 2
{2} Basi mghafala wenu, na pumbao yenu, na shughuli zenu zikaendelea "Mpaka mje makaburini" ndipo hapo mkafunukiwa na kifuniko, lakini baada ya kutoweza kwenu kukirudisha. Na iliashiria kauli yake: “Mpaka mje makaburini" kwamba maisha ya kaburini ni maskani ambayo yalikusudiwa kupitia humo ndiyo mtu afike akhera. Kwa sababu Mwenyezi Mungu aliwaita wageni, wala hakuwaita wakaaji wa hapo, basi hilo likaashiria kwamba kutakuwepo ufufuo na malipo juu ya vitendo katika makazi ya kudumu, yasiyokwisha.
