بحر العلومThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

حمٓ 1 تَنزِيلُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ 2 مَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ عَمَّآ أُنذِرُوا۟ مُعْرِضُونَ 3
وهي ثلاثون وخمس آيات مكية
قوله تبارك وتعالى: حم تَنْزِيلُ الْكِتابِ مِنَ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ وقد ذكرناه ما خَلَقْنَا السَّماواتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَما بَيْنَهُما من الشمس، والقمر، والنجوم، والرياح، والخلق إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ يعني: إلا ببيان الحق، لأمر عظيم هو كائن، ولم يخلقهن عبثاً وَأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى يعني: خلقهن لأجل أمر عظيم، ينتهي إليه وهو يوم القيامة، وهو الأجل المعلوم وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يعني: مشركي مكة عَمَّا أُنْذِرُوا مُعْرِضُونَ يعني: عما خوفوا به تاركون، فلا يؤمنون به، ولا يتفكرون فيه.
