تيسير الكريم الرحمنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا صُمٌّ وَبُكْمٌ فِى ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ ۗ مَن يَشَإِ ٱللَّهُ يُضْلِلْهُ وَمَن يَشَأْ يَجْعَلْهُ عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ 39
{39} هذا بيانٌ لحال المكذِّبين بآيات الله المكذِّبين لرسله: أنَّهم قد سدُّوا على أنفسهم باب الهُدى، وفتحوا باب الرَّدى، وأنهم {صُمٌّ} عن سماع الحقِّ، {بُكۡمٌ} عن النُّطق به؛ فلا ينطِقون إلا بالباطل ، {في الظُّلمات}؛ أي: منغمِسون في ظلمات الجهل والكفر والظُّلم والعناد والمعاصي، وهذا من إضلال اللهِ إيَّاهم؛ فمن {يَشَإِ اللهُ يُضۡلِلۡهُ ومن يَشَأ يَجۡعَلۡهُ على صراطٍ مستقيم}؛ لأنَّه المنفرد بالهداية والإضلال بحسبِ ما اقتضاه فضله وحكمته.
