تيسير الكريم الرحمنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَتَّخِذُوا۟ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۚ أَتُرِيدُونَ أَن تَجْعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ سُلْطَـٰنًا مُّبِينًا 144
{144} لما ذكر أنَّ من صفات المنافقين اتِّخاذ الكافرين أولياء من دون المؤمنين؛ نهى عبادَهُ المؤمنين أن يتَّصفوا بهذه الحالة القبيحة، وأن يُشابهوا المنافقين؛ فإنَّ ذلك موجب لأن {تجعلوا لله عليكم سلطاناً مبيناً}؛ أي: حجة واضحةً على عقوبتكم؛ فإنه قد أنذرنا وحذَّرنا منها، وأخبرنا بما فيها من المفاسد؛ فسلوكها بعد هذا موجب للعقاب. و [في] هذه الآية دليل على كمال عدل الله، وأنَّ الله لا يعذِّب أحداً قبل قيام الحجة عليه. وفيها التحذير من المعاصي؛ فإنَّ فاعِلَها يجعل لله عليه سلطاناً مبيناً.
