تيسير الكريم الرحمنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ لِبَاسًا وَٱلنَّوْمَ سُبَاتًا وَجَعَلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ نُشُورًا 47
{47} أي: من رحمته بكم ولُطْفِهِ أن جَعَلَ الليل لكم بمنزلةِ اللِّباس الذي يَغْشاكم حتى تستقرُّوا فيه، وتهدؤوا بالنوم وتسبُتَ حركاتُكم؛ أي: تنقطع عند النوم؛ فلولا الليل؛ لما سكن العبادُ، ولا استمرُّوا في تصرُّفهم، فضرَّهم ذلك غاية الضرر، ولو استمرَّ أيضاً الظلام؛ لتعطَّلت عليهم معايِشُهم ومصالِحُهم، ولكنه جعل النهار نُشوراً؛ ينتشرون فيه لتجاراتهم وأسفارهم وأعمالهم، فيقوم بذلك ما يقوم من المصالح.
