تيسير الكريم الرحمنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

وَإِذِ ٱسْتَسْقَىٰ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِۦ فَقُلْنَا ٱضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلْحَجَرَ ۖ فَٱنفَجَرَتْ مِنْهُ ٱثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ عَيْنًا ۖ قَدْ عَلِمَ كُلُّ أُنَاسٍ مَّشْرَبَهُمْ ۖ كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ مِن رِّزْقِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ 60
{60}{استسقى}؛ أي: طلب لهم ماء يشربون منه {فقلنا اضرب بعصاك الحجر}؛ إما حجر مخصوص معلوم عنده، وإما اسم جنس؛
{فانفجرت منه اثنتا عشرة عيناً}؛ وقبائل بني إسرائيل اثنتا عشرة
قبيلة، {قد علم كل أناس}؛ منهم {مشربهم}؛ أي: محلهم الذي يشربون عليه من هذه الأعين، فلا يزاحم بعضهم بعضاً بل
يشربونه متهنئين لا متكدرين، ولهذا قال:{كلوا واشربوا من رزق الله}؛ أي: الذي آتاكم من غير سعي ولا تعب {ولا تعثوا في الأرض}؛ أي: تخربوا على وجه الإفساد.
