تيسير الكريم الرحمنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

لَّا يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِٱللَّغْوِ فِىٓ أَيْمَـٰنِكُمْ وَلَـٰكِن يُؤَاخِذُكُم بِمَا كَسَبَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ 225
{225} أي: لا يؤاخذكم بما يجري على ألسنتكم من الأيمان اللاغية التي
يتكلم بها العبد، من غير قصد منه، ولا كسب قلب، ولكنها جرت على لسانه، كقول الرجل في عرض كلامه:
لا والله وبلى والله، وكحلفه على أمر ماضٍ يظن صدق نفسه، وإنما المؤاخذة على ما قصده القلب، وفي هذا
دليل على اعتبار المقاصد في الأقوال كما هي معتبرة في الأفعال، والله غفور لمن تاب إليه، حليم بمن
عصاه حيث لم يعاجلْه بالعقوبة، بل حلم عنه، وستر، وصفح مع قدرته عليه وكونه بين يديه.
