تيسير الكريم الرحمنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

وَإِذَآ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَـٰنِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَـَٔا بِجَانِبِهِۦ ۖ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ كَانَ يَـُٔوسًا 83
{83} هذه طبيعة الإنسان من حيث هو، إلاَّ مَن هداه الله؛ فإنَّ الإنسان عند إنعام الله عليه يفرح بالنِّعم، ويبطَرُ بها، ويعرِضُ، وينأى بجانبِهِ عن ربِّه؛ فلا يشكُرُه، ولا يذكُرُه. {وإذا مسَّه الشرُّ}: كالمرض ونحوه، {كان يؤوساً}: من الخير، قد قطع عن ربِّه رجاءه، وظنَّ أنَّ ما هو فيه دائمٌ أبداً، وأمَّا مَنْ هداه الله؛ فإنَّه عند النعم يخضعُ لربِّه، ويشكر نعمته، وعند الضرَّاء يتضرَّع، ويرجو من الله عافيته وإزالة ما يقعُ فيه، وبذلك يخفُّ عليه البلاء.
