تيسير الكريم الرحمنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

أَفَأَصْفَىٰكُمْ رَبُّكُم بِٱلْبَنِينَ وَٱتَّخَذَ مِنَ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِنَـٰثًا ۚ إِنَّكُمْ لَتَقُولُونَ قَوْلًا عَظِيمًا 40
{40} وهذا إنكارٌ شديدٌ على من زَعَمَ أنَّ الله اتَّخذ من خلقه بنات، فقال:{أفأصفاكم ربُّكم بالبنين}؛ أي: اختار لكم الصَّفوة والقسم الكامل، {واتَّخذ}: لنفسه {من الملائكة إناثاً}: حيث زعموا أن الملائكة بنات الله. {إنَّكُم لَتَقُولُونَ قَولاً عَظِيماً}: فيه أعظم الجرأة على الله، حيث نسبتُم له الولد المتضمِّن لحاجته، واستغناء بعض المخلوقات عنه، وحكموا له بأردأ القسمين، وهن الإناث، وهو الذي خلقكم واصطفاكم بالذكور، فتعالى الله عما يقول الظالمون علوًّا كبيراً.
