At-Tawba
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. وَيَحْلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ إِنَّهُمْ لَمِنكُمْ وَمَا هُم مِّنكُمْ وَلَـٰكِنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ يَفْرَقُونَ 56
(56) Лицемеры клянутся Аллахом, что являются одними из вас, однако они поступают так, потому что опасаются превратностей судьбы. Им не хватает смелости признаться в своих искренних убеждениях. Они боятся того, что если вам станет известно об их истинных убеждениях и поступках, то вы отречетесь от них, и тогда люди станут набрасываться на них со всех сторон. Сильные духом и благоразумные люди не поступают так. Они всегда действуют открыто, независимо от того, праведны их поступки или нет.
