Al-Munaafiqoon
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَسْتَغْفَرْتَ لَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ لَن يَغْفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ 6
(6) Они уклонились от прямого пути и повиновения Аллаха и предпочли безбожие вере, и поэтому даже мольба посланника Аллаха не принесла бы им пользы. Все- вышний сказал: «Будешь ли ты просить прощения для них или не будешь де- лать этого, Аллах все равно не простит их» (9:80). Аллах не ведет прямым путем грешников, которые погрязли в великом неверии и вышли из лона ислама.
