This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَمَا لَكُمْ لَا تُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ ۙ وَٱلرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِتُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِرَبِّكُمْ وَقَدْ أَخَذَ مِيثَـٰقَكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ 8
(8) Что же мешает вам обратиться в ислам и встать на путь Господа, если к этому вас призывает самый достойный из посланников и самый благородный из проповед- ников — Пророк Мухаммад,ﷺ ? Одно только это уже обязывает вас внять его про- поведям, ответить на его зов и уверовать в принесенную им истину, тем более что Аллах взял с вас слово о том, что вы не отвернетесь от веры. Но и это не все. Из-за Своей доброты и благосклонности к вам Аллах не до- вольствовался одними проповедями славного учителя и великого посланника, ﷺ, а подтвердил его правоту многочисленными чудесами и знамениями.
