Fussilat
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَسْتَتِرُونَ أَن يَشْهَدَ عَلَيْكُمْ سَمْعُكُمْ وَلَآ أَبْصَـٰرُكُمْ وَلَا جُلُودُكُمْ وَلَـٰكِن ظَنَنتُمْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَعْلَمُ كَثِيرًا مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ 22
(22) Вы не остерегались того, что все ваше тело станет свидетельствовать против вас. Вы совершали грехи и думали, что Аллах не ведает о ваших деяниях. Именно это заблуждение толкало вас на неповиновение Аллаху, и оно стало причиной вашей погибели и вашего несчастья. Поэтому Всевышний сказал:
