This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. مَا سَمِعْنَا بِهَـٰذَا فِى ٱلْمِلَّةِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ إِنْ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّا ٱخْتِلَـٰقٌ 7
(7) Мы не слышали, чтобы наши отцы говорили то, что проповедует Мухаммад, да и наши отцы не слышали об этом от своих предков. Продолжайте поклонять- ся тому, чему поклонялись ваши отцы и деды, потому что они следовали самым правильным путем, а все, к чему призывает Мухаммад, является всего лишь вы- мыслом и измышлением. Это — еще один довод многобожников, однако он столь же безоснователен, что и предыдущий. Они отвергли истину, опираясь на доводы, которые совер- шенно не способны противостоять ей. Слова посланника Аллаха, ﷺ, не совпада- ли с тем, что говорили их заблудшие отцы, но разве это свидетельствует о его лживости и порочности?
