This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. قَالَ رَبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَهَبْ لِى مُلْكًا لَّا يَنۢبَغِى لِأَحَدٍ مِّنۢ بَعْدِىٓ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْوَهَّابُ 35 فَسَخَّرْنَا لَهُ ٱلرِّيحَ تَجْرِى بِأَمْرِهِۦ رُخَآءً حَيْثُ أَصَابَ 36 وَٱلشَّيَـٰطِينَ كُلَّ بَنَّآءٍ وَغَوَّاصٍ 37 وَءَاخَرِينَ مُقَرَّنِينَ فِى ٱلْأَصْفَادِ 38 هَـٰذَا عَطَآؤُنَا فَٱمْنُنْ أَوْ أَمْسِكْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ 39
(35-39) Аллах внял его мольбе, вернул ему царство и одарил его властью, которой не обладал ни один человек после него. Он подчинил Сулейману джиннов и бесов, которые делали все, что он приказывал. Они возводили величественные строения, доставали со дна морей жемчуга и украшения, а тех, кто ослушался Сулеймана, он заковывал в тяжелые кандалы. Аллах одарил Сулеймана этой великой милостью и сказал: «Мы одарили тебя для того, чтобы ты наслаждался благами своего Господа. Ты можешь одарять этими благами одних и лишать их других, и ты не будешь отвечать за свое реше- ние». Этими словами Всевышний Аллах отметил любовь Сулеймана к справед- ливости и мудрость принимаемых им решений.
