This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. وَقَدْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ مِن قَبْلُ ۖ وَيَقْذِفُونَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ مِن مَّكَانٍۭ بَعِيدٍ 53
(53) Они строили догадки и пытались одолеть истину ложью, однако это было так же трудно и невозможно, как попасть в цель с далекого расстояния. Ложь не может сокрушить или перебороть истину, и она приобретает могущество только тогда, когда люди предают истину забвению. Если же истина начинает противостоять лжи, то она непременно сокрушает ее.
