Aal-i-Imraan
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. قُلْ يَـٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ لِمَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱللَّهُ شَهِيدٌ عَلَىٰ مَا تَعْمَلُونَ 98 قُلْ يَـٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ لِمَ تَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ مَنْ ءَامَنَ تَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا وَأَنتُمْ شُهَدَآءُ ۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ بِغَـٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ 99
(98-99) В предыдущих аятах Аллах уже привел людям Писания убедительные доказа- тельства истинности ислама, несмотря на то, что они знали Пророка Мухамма- да, ﷺ,так же хорошо, как знали своих собственных сыновей. В этих аятах Аллах упрекнул упорствующих людей Писания за то, что они отказываются уверовать в Его знамения и мешают людям следовать Его путем. Причина же этого в том, что неграмотные люди Писания слепо повинуются своим книжникам и богосло- вам. Всевышнему Аллаху известно об их злодеяниях, и поэтому каждый из них сполна получит заслуженное воздаяние.
