Aal-i-Imraan
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. وَكَأَيِّن مِّن نَّبِىٍّ قَـٰتَلَ مَعَهُۥ رِبِّيُّونَ كَثِيرٌ فَمَا وَهَنُوا۟ لِمَآ أَصَابَهُمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُوا۟ وَمَا ٱسْتَكَانُوا۟ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ 146
(146) Аллах утешил правоверных и велел им брать пример с пророков и поступать так, как поступали они. Во все времена верующие сталкивались с трудностями, поскольку таким было установление Аллаха. Сколько было пророков, рядом с которыми сра- жались их многочисленные верные последователи, прошедшие школу пророков и получившие воспитание в духе веры и приверженности праведным делам! Они гиб- ли, получали ранения и сталкивались с прочими трудностями, но они не падали ду- хом, не лишались сил и не покорялись своим противникам. Напротив, они проявля- ли терпение, стойкость и невиданную отвагу, а ведь Аллах любит терпеливых рабов.
