Al-Qasas

وَأَصْبَحَ ٱلَّذِينَ تَمَنَّوْا۟ مَكَانَهُۥ بِٱلْأَمْسِ يَقُولُونَ وَيْكَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبْسُطُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَقْدِرُ ۖ لَوْلَآ أَن مَّنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا لَخَسَفَ بِنَا ۖ وَيْكَأَنَّهُۥ لَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ 82
(82) Еще вчера они думали только о мирских благах и хотели оказаться на месте Кару- на, но ужасный конец надменного нечестивца вселил в их сердца страх перед на- казанием и заставил их призадуматься. И тогда они поняли, что одни люди полу- чают несметные богатства, а другим приходится довольствоваться самым малым, однако мирское благосостояние не может принести человеку счастье и великий удел. Израильтяне сказали: «Господь смилостивился над нами, и погибель Кару- на стала для нас поучительным примером. Прежде мы завидовали ему, но теперь мы раскаиваемся в этом. Мы отрекаемся от своих прежних воззрений и признаем, что неверующие не преуспеют ни при жизни на земле, ни после смерти».
