Al-Qasas
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. فَلَمَّا قَضَىٰ مُوسَى ٱلْأَجَلَ وَسَارَ بِأَهْلِهِۦٓ ءَانَسَ مِن جَانِبِ ٱلطُّورِ نَارًا قَالَ لِأَهْلِهِ ٱمْكُثُوٓا۟ إِنِّىٓ ءَانَسْتُ نَارًا لَّعَلِّىٓ ءَاتِيكُم مِّنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوْ جَذْوَةٍ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُونَ 29
(29) Муса исправно отработал свой срок, и по поводу его продолжительности ком- ментаторы высказывали различные мнения. Одни считали, что он отработал только обязательные восемь лет. Другие полагали, что он по доброй воле про- работал у своего тестя еще два года. За это время он соскучился по родителям и близким родственникам, а также по родине. Он решил, что прошло доста- точно времени для того, чтобы египтяне забыли о случившемся, и отправился со своей семьей в Египет. Спустя некоторое время он увидел со стороны горы огонь и велел своей семье подождать его. Судя по его словам, тогда было очень холодно, и они сбились с пути.
