Al-Anbiyaa

قَالُوا۟ حَرِّقُوهُ وَٱنصُرُوٓا۟ ءَالِهَتَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ فَـٰعِلِينَ 68
(68) Доводы Ибрахима заставили многобожников замолчать, и они поняли, что им не удастся оправдать свои воззрения. Тогда они решили использовать силу и наказать праведного пророка. Они вознамерились подвергнуть его самой страшной казни и предать огню. Тем самым они надеялись отомстить ему за своих богов и отстоять свои воззрения. Горе им, горе! Они предпочли поклоняться истуканам, которые нуждались в их помощи. Они избрали для себя беспомощных богов.
