Al-Baqara
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ ٱتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ أَخَذَتْهُ ٱلْعِزَّةُ بِٱلْإِثْمِ ۚ فَحَسْبُهُۥ جَهَنَّمُ ۚ وَلَبِئْسَ ٱلْمِهَادُ 206
(206) Всевышний сообщил о том, что грешник, который распространяет на земле нечестие, нарушая веления Аллаха, надменно отворачивается, когда его при- зывают быть богобоязненным. Он не только продолжает ослушаться Аллаха, но и проявляет высокомерие перед искренними доброжелателями. Довольно с него Геенны, которая станет обителью каждого грешника и гордеца! Как же скверно это место, в котором царят вечное наказание, бесконечный ужас и бес- предельная печаль. Участь грешников не будет облегчена, и они потеряют на- дежду на вознаграждение. Таким будет воздаяние за совершенные ими пре- ступления. Упаси нас Аллах от такой судьбы!
