Al-Baqara
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۖ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۖ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ 134
(134) О люди Писания! Каждому человеку остаются его деяния, и каждый человек получит воздаяние только за свои деяния. Никто не будет отвечать за прегрешения других, и никто не извлечет пользы из набожности и богобоязненности других людей. Вы утверждаете, что исповедуете религию Ибрахима и довольствуетесь голословными заявлениями, которые не имеют ничего общего с истиной. А ведь вы обязаны размышлять над воззрениями, которые вы исповедуете. Вы обязаны размышлять над тем, помогут они вам обрести спасение или нет.
