An-Nahl
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. وَإِذَا رَءَا ٱلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا۟ شُرَكَآءَهُمْ قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ شُرَكَآؤُنَا ٱلَّذِينَ كُنَّا نَدْعُوا۟ مِن دُونِكَ ۖ فَأَلْقَوْا۟ إِلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقَوْلَ إِنَّكُمْ لَكَـٰذِبُونَ 86
(86) В День воскресения многобожники увидят тех, кого они приобщали в сотоварищи к Аллаху. Они осознают порочность своих воззрений, но не смогут отрицать содеянное. Они скажут: «Господи! Вот идолы, которых мы считали Твоими сотоварищами. Они не способны помочь нам и заступиться за нас». Они сами заявят о том, что идолы совершенно бесполезны. Они отрекутся от них, и тогда между ними возникнет взаимная ненависть и вражда. Идолы отбросят их слова и скажут: «Вы — ничтожные лжецы. Вы поклонялись нам и приобщали нас в сотоварищи к Аллаху, но мы не просили вас поступать таким образом. Мы даже не смели предположить, что заслуживаем поклонения и обожествления. Посему порицания заслуживаете только вы!»
