Al-Alaq
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. ٱقْرَأْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ 1
(1) Ini adalah surat pertama yang turun kepada Rasulullah a. Surat ini turun kepada Rasulullah a sebagai prinsip-prinsip kenabian pada saat beliau belum mengetahui apa itu al-Qur`an dan apa itu iman. Jibril عليه السلام mendatangi beliau dengan membawa risalah dan memerintah beliau untuk membaca. Lalu Allah سبحانه وتعالى menu-runkan padanya, ﴾ ٱقۡرَأۡ بِٱسۡمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ﴿ "Bacalah dengan (menyebut) nama Rabbmu Yang menciptakan," yakni menciptakan makhluk secara umum.
