Al-Insaan
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ يُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَآءَهُمْ يَوْمًا ثَقِيلًا 27
(27) Allah سبحانه وتعالى berfirman, ﴾ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ﴿ "Sesungguhnya mereka (orang kafir)," yakni, orang-orang yang mendustakanmu wahai Rasul setelah tanda-tanda kebesaran Allah سبحانه وتعالى jelas bagi mereka dan setelah mereka diberi kabar gembira dan ancaman meski demikian hal itu tidak berguna bagi mereka sama sekali bahkan mereka tetap mengutamakan, ﴾ ٱلۡعَاجِلَةَ ﴿ "kehidupan dunia," dan merasa tenang pa-danya, ﴾ وَيَذَرُونَ ﴿ "dan mereka tidak mempedulikan," yakni tidak beramal dan mengacuhkan, ﴾ وَرَآءَهُمۡ ﴿ "kesudahan mereka," yakni, di hadapan mereka, ﴾ يَوۡمٗا ثَقِيلٗا ﴿ "pada hari yang berat (Hari Akhirat)," yaitu Hari Kiamat yang ukurannya selama lima puluh ribu tahun dari hari-hari yang biasa kalian hitung. Allah سبحانه وتعالى berfirman, ﴾ يَقُولُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا يَوۡمٌ عَسِرٞ 8 ﴿ "Orang-orang kafir berkata, 'Ini adalah hari yang sulit'." (Al-Qamar: 8). Seolah-olah mereka hanya diciptakan untuk hidup di dunia dan menetap di atasnya.
