Al-Jaathiya
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى سَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلْبَحْرَ لِتَجْرِىَ ٱلْفُلْكُ فِيهِ بِأَمْرِهِۦ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ 12
(12) Allah سبحانه وتعالى mengabarkan karunia dan kebaikanNya pada para hamba melalui ditundukkannya samudera agar bisa dilalui oleh perahu dan kapal atas perintah dan izinNya. ﴾ وَلِتَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ ﴿ "Supaya kamu dapat mencari sebagian karuniaNya," dengan berbagai macam perdagangan dan pekerjaan, ﴾ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ ﴿ "dan mudah-mu-dahan kamu bersyukur" kepada Allah سبحانه وتعالى, karena apabila kalian mau bersyukur, niscaya akan diberi tambahan nikmat oleh Allah سبحانه وتعالى serta memberikan pahala besar atas rasa syukur kalian.
