Ash-Shura
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَجَعَلَهُمْ أُمَّةً وَٰحِدَةً وَلَـٰكِن يُدْخِلُ مَن يَشَآءُ فِى رَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚ وَٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ مَا لَهُم مِّن وَلِىٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ 8
(8) ﴾ و َ ﴿ "Dan" meskipun itu semua, kalau Allah menghen-daki, niscaya Dia menjadikan manusia ﴾ أُمَّةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ ﴿ "satu umat saja," semuanya di atas petunjuk. Sebab Dia-lah Yang Kuasa, tidak ada sesuatu apa pun yang sukar bagiNya. Akan tetapi Dia hendak memasukkan ke dalam rahmatNya orang-orang yang dikehendaki-Nya di antara manusia-manusia pilihanNya. Adapun orang-orang yang zhalim yang tidak bisa beramal shalih maka mereka adalah orang-orang yang dihalangi dari rahmatNya. Mereka sama sekali tidak akan mendapatkan seorang pelindung pun yang dapat me-lindungi mereka yang bisa mewujudkan impian mereka, dan tidak ada pula seorang penolong yang menolak bahaya dari mereka.
