Ash-Shura
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّنْ أَوْلِيَآءَ يَنصُرُونَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن سَبِيلٍ 46
(46) ﴾ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّنۡ أَوۡلِيَآءَ يَنصُرُونَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِۗ ﴿ "Dan mereka sekali-kali tidak mempunyai pelindung-pelindung yang dapat menolong mereka selain Allah" sebagaimana mereka dahulu di dunia yang memanja-kan diri mereka dengan hal itu. Maka pada Hari Kiamat tampaklah bagi mereka dan bagi yang lain bahwa semua bentuk hubungan mereka yang mereka dambakan itu sudah terputus, dan bahwa sesungguhnya di kala azab Allah menimpa mereka maka sama sekali tidak bisa ditolak. ﴾ وَمَن يُضۡلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن سَبِيلٍ ﴿ "Dan siapa yang disesatkan Allah, maka tidaklah ada baginya sesuatu jalan pun," yang dengannya hidayah bisa diperoleh. Jadi, mereka telah sesat saat mereka mengklaim manfaat dan bisa menolak bahaya pada para sembahan-sembahan mereka. Maka pada saat itu terbuktilah ke-sesatan mereka.
