This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. Sabīl did not write or translate any of it.

أَمْ عِندَهُمْ خَزَآئِنُ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْوَهَّابِ 9
(9) ﴾ أَمۡ عِندَهُمۡ خَزَآئِنُ رَحۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡوَهَّابِ ﴿ "Atau apakah mereka itu mem-punyai perbendaharaan rahmat Rabbmu Yang Mahaperkasa lagi Maha Pemberi," lalu mereka memberikan sebagian darinya kepada siapa saja yang mereka kehendaki dan tidak memberikannya kepada siapa yang mereka kehendaki, di mana dengan itu mereka bisa mengatakan, ﴾ أَءُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلذِّكۡرُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِنَاۚ ﴿ "Mengapa al-Qur`an itu diturunkan kepadanya di antara kita," maksudnya, ini adalah karunia dan rahmat Allah سبحانه وتعالى, dan hal itu bukan wewenang mereka sehingga mereka berbuat lancang terhadap Allah (dengan bertanya seperti itu).
