This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. قُلْ مَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُتَكَلِّفِينَ 86
(86) Setelah Rasulullah a menjelaskan dalil kepada ma-nusia dan menjelaskan kepada mereka jalan (yang lurus) ini, maka Allah berfirman, ﴾ قُلۡ مَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ ﴿ "Katakanlah, 'Aku tidak meminta kepadamu atasnya'," maksudnya, atas seruanku kepada kalian ini, ﴾ مِنۡ أَجۡرٖ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلۡمُتَكَلِّفِينَ ﴿ "upah sedikitpun dan aku bukanlah termasuk orang-orang yang mengada-adakan," di mana aku mengklaim suatu perkara yang bukan milikku dan mengikuti apa yang tidak aku miliki ilmu-nya, dan tidak pula aku mengikuti selain dari apa yang diwahyu-kan kepadaku.
