This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. إِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى خَـٰلِقٌۢ بَشَرًا مِّن طِينٍ 71 فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُۥ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِى فَقَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ سَـٰجِدِينَ 72
(71-72) Kemudian Allah menjelaskan perbantahan para malaikat tersebut seraya berfirman, ﴾ إِذۡ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ ﴿ "Ketika Rabbmu berfirman kepada malaikat" sebagai informasi, ﴾ إِنِّي خَٰلِقُۢ بَشَرٗا مِّن طِينٖ ﴿ "Sesung-guhnya Aku akan menciptakan manusia dari tanah." Maksudnya, mate-rinya dari tanah liat, ﴾ فَإِذَا سَوَّيۡتُهُۥ ﴿ "Maka apabila telah Ku-sempurnakan," maksudnya, menyempurnakan jasadnya dan telah terbentuk,﴾ وَنَفَخۡتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُواْ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ ﴿ "dan Ku-tiupkan kepadanya ruhKu, maka hendak-lah kamu tersungkur dengan sujud kepadanya."
