An-Naml
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَـٰلِحًا أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ فَإِذَا هُمْ فَرِيقَانِ يَخْتَصِمُونَ 45
(45) Allah سبحانه وتعالى menginformasikan bahwasanya Dia telah mengutus kepada kaum Tsamud, yaitu suatu kabilah yang sangat populer, saudara mereka senasab, yaitu Shaleh; dan bahwa Shaleh memerintahkan kepada mereka agar beribadah hanya kepada Allah saja dan meninggalkan sembahan-sembahan dan segala bentuk berhala. ﴾ فَإِذَا هُمۡ فَرِيقَانِ يَخۡتَصِمُونَ ﴿ "Tetapi tiba-tiba mereka (menjadi) dua golongan yang bermusuhan," di antara mereka ada yang beriman dan ada pula yang kafir, dan mereka (yang kafir) adalah yang terbanyak.
