An-Nahl
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. فَأَصَابَهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ 34
(34) ﴾ فَأَصَابَهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا عَمِلُواْ ﴿ "Maka mereka ditimpa oleh (akibat) kejahatan perbuatan mereka," yaitu hukuman-hukuman atas amalan-amalan mereka dan dampak buruknya, ﴾ وَحَاقَ بِهِم ﴿ "dan mereka di-liputi oleh azab," yaitu petaka ﴾ مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ ﴿ "yang selalu mereka perolok-olokkan," mereka itu bila menerima informasi tentang azab dari para rasul, niscaya mereka melontarkan ejekan kepadanya dan mencemooh orang yang memberitahukannya. Akibatnya, perkara yang mereka cemoohkan melanda mereka.
