Answers
الأجوبةQuestions people ask, answered in the Sabīl library’s own words. Never by a chatbot.
From the Sabīl library · scholarly review pending
Each answer is an entry of the Sabīl library, shown word for word with its sources. Nobody wrote it for the question, and no machine wrote, shortened or reworded it: the question was matched to the entry that answers it. The library’s scholarly review is still pending. Where the schools differ, the entry says what each holds. For a ruling on your own circumstances, ask a scholar.

Two more kinds of answer are being prepared: the published answers of named bodies of scholars, shown whole and under their own names once each has given its permission, and answers written and signed by Sabīl’s own scholars. Neither is here yet.

- The āyah or ḥadīth it rests on, with reference and grade.
- Its madhhab
- Which school it follows, and where the schools differ.
- Its reviewers
- The names of the two scholars who signed it.
- Its date
- When it was reviewed, and a public log of corrections.
AI finds and quotes; it never composes
Search will only retrieve approved entries and quote them word for word. When it is unsure it declines and hands over to a scholar. There is never a chatbot muftī.
